This ancestral infusion has been part of the human being for centuries. The origin of the history of coffee is located in Ethiopia, Africa. It is so old, there are no written documents about when it began to be taken. That is because at that time, the writing had not reached those regions.

All we have are some tribal legends that have endured for years, as popular wisdom. The most famous says like this:

¨ It is said that the members of the tribes observed how the goats presented a behavior more energetic than normal, after eating certain types of berries. Some of them decided to try it and checked those benefits being the first people to consume coffee throughout the history of mankind."

Coffee consumption began in the African regions of Ethiopia. In those regions the tribes that inhabited these lands, began to take them as wild berries. The fruit would be swallowed whole or crushed.

As is normal in the creative nature of the human being, new forms of preparation began to be devised. One of the most curious, was the use of coffee leaves to prepare infusions. To give you an idea, it would be something like making a coffee tea.

Around the fifteenth century, at which time its expansion began throughout the Islamic world through Yemen, an intense debate began about the legality of its consumption. The main reason for discussion was the effects of excitement and energy that caused the body. The fact is that they used to interpret as intoxication, and in Islamic culture that is prohibited.
